PATTERN MAKING Diploma, 900 HRS

Topics: Technical drawing, specification sheets, pattern making techniques, cutting & sewing techniques, ease allowance, fibers and yarns, cost & time control, grading techniques, history of costume, product development, quality control, fashion marketing & communication.

The course is designed for beginners and has the main aim of creating professionals in the Pattern Making field. The final garment and its quality, cuts, styles and details to create the new modern tailor, able to receive influences from the outer world and transform them into the dream dress for you or for your future clients. The student will study Industrial and tailoring techniques in order to become the best professionals available in the market, able to interpret and to recreate any kind of pattern and cloth.

Attendance options:

Duration: 2 years – Weekly lessons: 4
Duration: 1 year – Weekly lessons: 8

Course Output: Bodice base with and without dart, dart manipulation, collars, sleeve, skirts, trousers, jackets and coats, evening and bridal dress. The course includes woman, man and kids’  wear.

PATTERN MAKING, 300 HRS.

The course is designed for beginners willing to specialize on the Woman’s Pattern making career, those willing to improve their skills or simply start a new career.

Attendance options:
Duration: 6 months – Weekly lessons: 4 lessons
Duration: 4 months – Weekly lessons: 7

Course Output: Bodice base with and without dart, dart manipulation, collars, sleeve, skirts, trousers, jackets and coats, evening and bridal dress. The course includes woman’s wear only.

PATTERN MAKING, 90 HRS.

Topics: Pattern making techniques specification sheets, cutting & sewing notions, ease allowance.

The course is designed for those having already a background in the field and would like to deepen their shills or update their level.

Attendance options:
Duration: 2 months – Weekly lessons: 4
Duration: 1 month – Weekly lessons: 8

Course Output: Bodice base with and without dart, dart manipulation, collars, sleeve, skirts. (Topic can be switched to: trousers, or jackets and coats, or evening and bridal)

SEWING TECHNIQUES, 90 HRS.

Topics: How to sew a bodice, collar, darts, sleeve, cuffs pockets, zippers, skirts, trousers & etc.

The course has the main objective of introducing all the principles of sewing and guide the student into the process of producing a complete garment.
